Scuola Vela Isola Rossa
Scuola Vela Isola Rossa has been operating in the small village of Isola Rossa ever since 1986, the year when the founder Marco Terzitta began his activity as windsurf instructor.
The following years were dedicated to the teaching and divulgation of windsurf and sailing, participating in regattas in Italy and elsewhere and gaining two Italian titles in 1991 and 1992 and a prestigious 7th place at Mistral Slalom world championship in San Francisco, CA, in 1991.
Over the years the school has been promoting several sport activities, such as the creation and arrangement of regatta "Memorial Pietro Carta" and the introduction of other activities such as surf and kitesurf.
The school offers daily outings on a sailboat in order to teach sailing techniques and cruises from 2 to 7 days with different itineraries in North Sardinia and South Corsica, passing through Tavolara Protected Marine Area, Asinara National Park and charming Maddalena Archipelago National Park, and even reaching the Marine Reserve of the Mouths of Bonifacio in Corsica, discovering fabulous havens and beaches that can be reached only by sea. The instructors have gained qualifications from the Italian Sailing Federation and the Italian Navy League.
