Mykonos
Mykonos is a greek island belonging to the Cyclades island group.
It is well known also with the nickname "The island of the winds" or "Ibiza of Greece". In fact, the nightlife on Mykonos is one of tourists' main attraction. The island offers a large number of taverns, bars, clubs with worldwide famous DJs and everything you need to have fun. The parties don't stop at dawn, they go on all day long. Paradise and Super Paradise beach are the most famous beaches for parties.
Of course, also during the day the island provides many other activities you can do. First of all, on Mykonos there are several beautiful beaches, where having relax and practicing water sports, such as Paranga beach, one of the smallest beaches, a combination of two sandy beaches separated by a promontory or Agari, a sandy calm beach.
Then, it is also possible to discover the history of the island, visiting the Archaeological Museum with its pottery collection, the Folklore Museum or just walking around the city, which has alleys designed as a labyrinth to confuse the pirates. Mykonos town, or Chora, is designed with the beautiful typical greek houses: white walls and blue doors and windows.
The island provides everything you need, from crazy parties to the relax, with its amazing landscapes and wonderful sunsets.
