Port-Cros

Port-Cros is a French island belonging to archipelago of "Island of  Hyère", in Mediterrean sea.

The island was donated by a private to the French government with the purpose to design a National Park. The National Park of Port Cros is one of the oldest French national park and the first European marine park.
It plays a big role in the protection of the biodiversity in many of its aspects: the wild Mediterranean flora, the migratory birds, that come from Africa and the particularly seabed, that is rich of fish.

Port Cros island is the wildest of the archipelago and can be visited under 3 different itineraries: "Sentier des Plantes'', "Circuit des Crètes'', "Circuit de Port Man", each start and finish at the little port. The island's landscapes are magnificent: the crystal-clear water of the bays, the suggestive little island Rocher du Rascas, the beautiful beaches and the rock coast.
