A cabin charter cruise in the Western Cyclades with boarding and disembarkation in Paros, Greece.
The islands we'll visit (Folegandros, Milos, Polyaigos, Sifnos, Paros) are some of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean Sea both for landscapes and typical villages. We'll spend a few evenings in the Greek taverns to taste typical dishes. There will be some night stops in deserted bays to admire the starry skies.
The staff on board will cook all the meals for a real gourmet sailing cruise.
Boarding in the late afternoon in Paroikia Paros, welcome drink and accommodation in the cabins.
Sailing out of Paroikia Gulf we will pass through the strait between Paros and Antiparos and then we'll set off on a thrilling and fast navigation with the wind in our sails to Folegandros. Normally we drop the anchor in magnificent Vathi bay, where we'll spend a relaxing afternoon.
In the late afternoon we'll take a bus to visit Chora, after a walk to the monastery to admire a spectacular sunset. Dinner in a tavern.
Long crosswind navigation along a very windy stretch of the sea, heading to Milos southern coast. We'll drop the anchor on a white-sanded sea bottom with crystal clear waters in front of us and a white cliff with different hues, from red to green and yellow, surrounded by one of the most spectaculars sceneries in the Cyclades. The afternoon is spent swimming, walking on the long white beach and relaxing on the boat. Dinner and night in the bay.
Short navigation along Milos southern coast reaching the western tip of Milos where we'll find Kleftiko. Kleftiko is an impressing corner of rock formations, where high stacks rise from the sea and the coast is full of caves that can be explored on a dinghy. The legend says that it was a pirates' den.
Lunch and swims. In the afternoon short but intense upwind navigation to Adamantas, or Milos harbour.
We leave the great bay of Milos, circumnavigate the northern part of the island and sail about ten miles across to reach Polyaigos, where we will anchor in one of the most beautiful bays of the Cyclades. A natural pool with crystal clear water and white sand, where it is possible to anchor sheltered from the Meltemi. Afternoon of relaxation and bathing and in the evening walk on the mountain to see an unforgettable sunset. Night in a deserted bay.
Short but intense sailing upwind to reach a deserted bay in the south of Sifnos, a narrow bay that can only be reached by sea with a single white house with a small church. Afternoon of relaxation and night in the bay.
Sailing sideways to reach the islets of the channel between Antiparos and Paros, stop for lunch and in the aftrenoon short navigation to Paroikia.
Breakfast and disembarkation.
