We will spend a few evenings in the characteristic Greek taverns to taste the typical dishes. There will be night stops in desert shaves to admire the starry sky in all its splendor.
Navigation will always take place close to the coast and the cruise is also suitable for those with no experience.
The onboard staff will take care of the cooking, with healthy and high quality meals.
Boarding in the late afternoon at Lavrio (reachable by bus, 45 minutes from Athens International Airport), welcome toast and accommodation in your personal cabins.
Early in the morning we'll sail along the south coast of Attika, passing under the imposing temple of Poseidon at Sunion Cape.
Then we will continue sailing towards Aegina, an island located in the middle of the Saronic Gulf, famous for being a great producer of pistachios and to house the famous 5th century BC Afaia temple.
We'll moor in the port of Agia Marina and then with the bus we will go to visit the temple.
We will sail in the morning to reach Palaia Epidaurus.
We'll moor in the marina and then in the afternoon we will visit the splendid theater of Epidaurus. It is the best preserved Greek theater and has acoustics hard to describe: you can hear a coin dropped in the center of the stage perfectly up to the highest stands at a hundred meters of distance.
We will sail along the south coast of Aegina, where we will stop at lunch on a beautiful bay.
In the afternoon we'll transfer to Poros where we will spend the evening, walking through the narrow streets of the old town with a beautiful sunset visible from the lighthouse.
We leave Poros directed to a beautiful little bay sheltered by 3 small islands at the eastern tip of the Peloponnese, where we will stop for lunch. In the afternoon transfer to the port of Hydra.
In Hydra vehicles are not permitted so the only way to move around is by walking or by the help of donkeys. Its main attraction consists in the beautiful houses of its center, built in the 1800s when the island was home to a rich community of shipowners. Today it is the favorite destination of the Athenian intellectuals who bought many houses located in the upper part of the town.
An easy sailing will take us to the deep bay at the center of the island of Dhokos, where we will stop for lunch.
In the afternoon we'll move to the main port of the island of Spetse: its name derives from "spezie" (spices), given by the Venetians for whom it was a fundamental stop on the spice route. Today the main feature of the town is in the fact that private car traffic is not allowed, so in order to move, you must either walk, use horse-drawn carriages, or ride a bicycle.
We will circumnavigate the island of Spetse stopping for lunch in a remote bay on the south west coast. Then in the afternoon we move to Port Heli.
Breakfast and disembarkation.
