Turks and Caicos Islands

The name Turks and Caicos Islands refers to a coral archipelago lapped by the Caribbean Sea. This group encloses 8 main islands and over 299 minor islands, their territory is almost homogeneous and flat and characterized by amazing coastal areas. Turks and Caicos Islands boast a tropical climate; the sun shines all year, only sometimes short rainfalls occur. Between June and November it is possible for some hurricanes to form.

Turks and Caicos Islands boast the presence of several and evocative beaches and bays covered by fine white sand. Among the most beautiful beaches, there are Grace Bay, Blue Hills Beach, Smiths Reef Beach, Coral Gardens and The Bright, located on Providenciales. On the other hand, significant beaches on Grand Turk are White Sands Beach, Cockburn Town and Cocktree Beach. In the crystal-clear water of this amazing sea it is possible to practice every kind of water sports, from parasail dragged by a motorboat, with which, once on high, it is possible to admire the archipelago composition from above, to scuba diving. Here it is possible to discover Molasses Reef, the place where The Pint, Christopher Columbus’ ship, was drowned in 1500.

On these islands it is also possible to enjoy fishing trips, explore evocative natural caves such as Conch Bar Caves, relax playing golf and taste delicious local dishes. Traditional cuisine has its roots in Creole gastronomy. Conch is a typical dish made with mollusk, also creole tapas with fish are very tasty.

To top off your night, Turks and Caicos Islands offer several ways to have fun: beach parties till dawn, bars on the beach where to sip delicious drink, while the maritime breeze mitigates the atmosphere. Or, for those  who are more romantic, you can see the sunset from the beach. The burning sun meets the transparent sea water and covers it, offering a unique and unforgettable experience, which will leave you dumbstruck.
