Bernina Express Tour starting from Milan

Departure from Milano at 07:00 for “Bernina express tour”, a unique and unforgettable experience on board of Bernina Express. It is not a simple train, it is a sort of theatre from where you can admire the enchanting natural show.

Arrival in Tirano due at 10:00, right here your rise on board of Trenino Rosso del Bernina will start.

The itinerary will last about three hours and you’ll have the possibility to admire different landscapes: you’ll see fairy-tale panoramas with classical grasslands and Switzerland pasturage, everlasting glaciers, the city, little villages, rivers and lakes and, at the end you’ll reach St. Moritz.

At 12:30 you’ll have free time in which you can have lunch and taste typical products of this land, a mix of flavors of French, German and Italian cooking.

In the afternoon, after lunch, you’ll have extra free time, so you can enjoy the breathtaking view of this well-known destination.

St. Moritz is divided in two units: St. Moritz Dolf, the centre of citizens life, the area of the great hotels and which hosts the same name lake; and St. Moritz Bad where the thermal baths are situated. You can enjoy an excursion, walking along the lakeside admiring the surrounding nature; or you can visit the city centre discovering its places of interest such as Palazzo del Comune, the thirteenth-century leaning tower, San Maurizio square and Futura church situated next to the Old School, which today is a library.

During the journey return the driver will take you to the beautiful Silvaplana Lake for a short stop where, on windy days, you can admire spectacular kitesurfing acrobatics.
