A typical Dehler 38 doesn’t really exist, because every Dehler 38 is different. As a performance cruiser, it caters for the whole of the sailing spectrum – from regatta to the grand tour. And should you wish to make one of these features more or less prominent, there are plenty of opportunities to do so. The standard version can in fact be adapted to different furnishing options, with five-star suites or a competition version. Single-handed deck layout, a hard, water- resistant hull and an intelligent ensuite concept are Dehler 38's main features.
The versatile options for furnishings include a teak deck and a comfortable bathing platform. The sports version carries less weight, due to a carbon rig and elegant lightweight cabinets in the interior. As for the exterior, you can choose among different versions that will define the boat's character. The extremely rigid 11.30m hull is made ofwater-resistant vinyl ester resin.
The standard version comes with a two-metre keel, while the competition version has a 2.20m keel. A 1.60m keel is also available for sailing in shallow water. The Dehler 38 is equipped with high-quality Elvstrøm sails.
