Conceived by Philippe Briand and launched in 2003, the Sun Odyssey 49 has a high-performing hull. It has been designed for offshore sailing, so it's elegant and very powerful at the same time. It's a proper cruise craft, but it is also suitable for sailing with very poor wind.

This great modern sailing yacht is 49 feet long and it has been created to sail very fast and enjoy long routes, offering seafarers the maximum comfort. The yacht is easy to operate also by a small crew.

The radder is precise and reliable, while the windlasses make it easy to control the sails with great precision.

The yacht boasts a very nice contour thanks to the lowered deckhouse. The clear deck allows the crew to operate in the easiest conditions possible and it offers wide spaces and great convenience. The cockpit has been designed to host 10 people.

A great kitchen, a wide dinette, a nice chart table, a modern atmosphere, lots of light and a constant air circulation: these are all great elements that turn a plain trip on the sea into an unforgettable sailing vacation.

Trapani

Trapani

Italy

Known as the “City of the two Seas”, Trapani is located on the Western point of Sicily, between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Channel of Sicily. In addition to its natural beauties, Trapani takes its charm from its ability to keep cultural and historical traditions.

The town, placed under Mount Erice, faces the natural wonder of the Aegadian islands, visible from land. The promontory, the antique marina and endless beaches of white sand, like the famous San Vito lo Capo, are characteristics of this Western province of Sicily.

The centre town can be easily visit by foot and you will discover many churches, for example the Chiesa di San Francesco d’Assisi, the Chiesa of the Cappuccini, the Chiesa del Purgatorio and the Chiesta di San Pietro. The Cathedral dedicated to San Lorenzo is amazing and so is the street Garibaldi, with its beautiful buildings like Palazzo Ricco di Morana and Palazzo Milo.

Do not miss the Natural Reserve of the Saline, in the area between Trapani and Marsala, a real oasis of peace offering unique natural scenarios.
