Donoussa

Donoussa is a small island belonging to the small Cyclades island group.

It presents a dry and rocks ground, and it is a more ventilated compare to the other small Cyclades islands, because of the absence of the hills. However, the winds clear the horizon and let you admire the close island of Patmos and Santorini. In Donoussa, there are five main beaches where you can relax and enjoy the crystal clear sea. They are: Kendros, the largest sandy beach on the island; Fikio, a small pebbled bay surrounded by rocks; Port beach, with its sandy coast is the more crowded on the island; Kalotaritiss, a pebbled beach and Livadi a sandy beach surrounded by huge rocks.

The island is almost uninhabited, there are 110 residents, who are mainly fishermen and farmer. On this island you will also taste the good local cooking and enjoy the beautiful breath-taking views.
