In production from 1992 to 1997 the Gib Sea 474 (40 units produced) is a yacht created primarily for a charter use.

A prove of this charter use comes from the basic design characterized by five cabins with three toilets. The dinette is very wide, thanks also to the width of 4.30 m, with ten sessions. Good comfort blanket, especially in the cockpit, with wrapping benches and a central table incorporated to the console of the rudder. The hull designed by Joubert / Nivelt gives high performance to the yacht but it suffers with light winds due to a reduced sail area.
