The Usa or United States of America are situated at the center of North America and consists of 50 States. There is Canada to the Northern border and Mexico to the Southern border. The State of Alaska is placed at the border of Canada and Russia. In the middle of the Pacific Ocean is lies the American state and archipelago of Hawaii.

The climate and the geography of the United States are very variable, there are plains, lakes, forests, deserts and mountains. The United States is the most multicultural and multiethnic country in the world. The most famous and populous cities are New York, Boston, Washington, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, New Orleans and San Francisco. The culture is different from state to state. 

America is the cradle of many sub-cultures because of the multiethnic population which influenced the development of culture. Some music genres are very famous all over the world, like jazz, rap and hip hop. These were founded in local ethnic and cultural groups and then exported in the rest of the world.

The history of the United States began in 1492, when Christopher Columbus reached the Caribbean Islands. From this period, immigration from other countries started. On July 4, 1776 Great Britain recognized the independence of the United States. Nowadays the States of America boasts one of the most rich, developed and stable economy of the world and population enjoys an high-level of life.

Tourism is highly developed, thanks to many world-famous attractions, like museums, galleries, monuments and national parks. The most famous national parks are: Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park, Deathy Valley National Park, Glacier National Park and Niagara Falls.
