Tilos

Tilos is a small greek island belonging to the Dodecanese group. It is located in the Aegean Sea.

Tilos has not developed a massive tourism, that is why on the island you can totally enjoy a peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful landscape, characterized by amazing beaches and crystal clear sea.

The main beaches on the island are: Livadia Beach, a pebble beach, it is close to tourist facilities on the island; Agios Antonios Beach, a pebble beach on the northern side of the island and Plaka Beach, a narrow bay with pebbly beach.

The inland also offers some worth-places. The most important villages are: Livadia, that is the main port on the island. It is designed by traditional greek houses that are located in the green valley close to a suggestive bay. The uninhabited and mysterious village of Mikro Chorio, due to the desertion of the area, it now provides impressive ruins belonging to the old settlement. The most important attraction remains in the village is the old castle, built in the 14th century. Magalo Chorio, the capital city. It is built on the slopes of the hills and presents a castle on the top, that overlook the city.
