Kos

Kos is a greek island belonging to the Dodecanese archipelago in the Aegean Sea. Kos is part of a mountain range. The typical landscape on the island is characterized by promontory and a several number and typology of beaches. In fact, here it is possible to find beaches with different shapes and sizes as well as hidden bays and known coves.

The popular beaches on the island are: Paradise Beach, a sandy beach with crystal clear water, perfect to practice all the water sports, Psalidi, sand and pebble beach, Kefalos, may be the nicest in whole Kos.

In the hinterland Kos you can see the typical greek village, white houses adorned with colourful flowers, that spill down the hillsides. It is thought that the physician Hippocrates have been born on Kos, for this reason in the centre of the town there is the Plane Tree of Hippocrates.

Not-to-miss places in the inland are: the Byzantine Antimachia Castle, a 14th century fortress and the Ancient Agora, the commercial centre of the ancient city.

During your holiday on Kos you will enjoy also the nightlife. In fact Kos Town, the main city, is rich in restaurants and bars, but it is Kamari the capital of the nightlife, its street are full of bars, pubs and clubs.
