Sanremo

Sanremo is an italian town placed in Liguria in the North of Italy. Born as a fishing village now it's a modern and named tourist destination thanks to the flower-growing and, therefore, is well known also as the City of the Flowers. Many events are settled in Sanremo, in fact, it is the location of the Italian song festival, the arrival of the famous cycle race Milan-Sanremo, a stage of the European Poker Tour and, above all, Sanremo is famous for its Casinò.

The Ariston Theatre of Sanremo hosts every year the famous Sanremo Music Festival, a song contest where the italian singers are in competition in order to show their abilities and new songs.

The montains behind the town and the action of the sea give to it a mild climate. Sanremo boasts an invidiable culinary tradition that includes all the Ligurian's specialities such as focaccia, focaccia and onions, farinata and pasta with pesto.
