Lastovo
Lastovo is placed at the center of Dalmatia and is considered one of the most beautiful and wildest island of Croatia. Lastovo was a military base and until 1998 it has been closed to the tourism. Probably for that reason this island maintains an uncontaminated nature characterized by a straordinary beauty.
In Lastovo there are many beaches and the coasts overlooking the sea arrange many coves and wonderful bays. The beaches are both sandy and pebbly, but the most beautiful are not on the island, but are located to Saplun, one of the uninhabiatted small island of the subarchipelago of Lastovo. The only area where it easy to swim in Lastovo is the Skrivena Luka.
On the western side of the island is located a small bay and village called Pasadur. There, the island is connected by a bridge to another small uninhabitated island, Prezba. In the Pasadur bay there are two salt lakes that you have absolutely to visit, Velo Lake and Malo Lake.
In the south of the island there's a promontory surmounted by a lighthouse where is available an overnight during all the year.
This Island can host the guests with the same hospitality of the fishermans and the paesants, in order to spend a relaxing vacation far from the chaos of the city.
