Alessandra Gandolfi

Alessandra has always loved travelling, the sea, life on a sailboat and total freedom. But it was only in January 2011 that, during a holiday in San Blas, Panama, she understood that she wanted to live there permanently. She immediately started sailing school and in December of that same year she had already sailed 5,000 miles, including two crewed ocean crossings. Offshore sailing and cooking are her great passions. She then went back to Italy to close her business and started her new life as a sailor and skipper. She has so far covered 40,000 miles in the ocean and has made 3 ocean crossings. Currently she lives in San Blas, Panama, and sails on her boat Kalimera.

Alessandra cooks delicious fresh fish and vegetable based dishes for her guests on board, without forgetting the good Italian cuisine, meaning pasta, bread and pizza. She takes her guests to the most beautiful islands of San Blas, to make them discover Guna culture.
