Canouan

Canouan is a island belonging to the Grenadines Islands, it is located in the Caribbean Sea. Canouan is part of the State of Saint Vincent and Grenadines and is set in the south part of the capital island of the archipelago.

In the 2nd century BC, the island was inhabited by the Arawak, now on the island live about 1200 citizens. The majority of the populations has Afro-Caribbean ancestry.

Canouan extends for 13 km2, and is 3,2 km length.
