Cruise without flight
Verified The cruise has met our standards
The Caribbean is a real earthly paradise and the islands that emerge from this sea are precious gems, worth visiting. Thanks to this relaxing 10-day cruise you can visit the archipelago of San Blas, in Panama, and discover its untouched and well-preserved landscapes, its coastlines, characterized by long white sandy beaches lapped by a turquoise sea and covered by lush coconut palms. The islands are 370 and the sailing boat will take you to admire their deepest secrets, hidden in little coves and picturesque bays. Kuna Indians manage this natural treasure and are really protective of its cultural identity and autonomy, this is why they did not allow the construction of any tourist facility on the territory.
This cabin charter cruise is always available, the itinerary includes visits to the most suggestive and beautiful atolls and islands, it can be subject to changes, if the skipper considers it worthwhile. After having handled the customs formalities in Carti in the Kuna community, you'll reach the port of Chichimè or the of island of Porvenir, port for embarkation and disembarkation. We'll move from Carti to the port on board of a launch, a typical Caribbean boat. It'll be an unforgettable and exciting cruise.
You will arrive at Tocumen airport in Panama City normally with flights arriving in the afternoon or evening. You will then need to stay overnight at a hotel in Panama City. In the morning you will part of the galley in the city, since on the small islands there are no supermarkets or shops with great food supplies. With a taxi-jeeps 4/4 you'll reach Carti, located on the coast. Once in Carti you enter the territory of the Kuna community. You'll then continue on a launch, a typical Caribbean boat, and move to the island of Chichime where "Baruffa" sailboat will be awaiting, ready to sail for the cruise charter.
The route will pass and stop at various atolls, all small and mid-distance chosen based on beauty, protection from the winds and the possibility of anchoring. A general itinerary will be proposed by the skipper. The landing is scheduled on the morning of the tenth day of the cruise, also on the island of Chichime, where the launch will take you back to Carti, where you'll resume the taxi-jeep that leads to the city of Panama.
NB: The itineraries are indicative as the route is impossible to plan in detail in advance because of the weather and sea conditions. For safety reasons, the judgment of the skipper, as regards navigation and any changes to the program, is final.
