Its name derives from Palatium because here, was erected the famous and beautifully preserved Diocletian's Palace, the focal point of the old city. This city is characterized by a mix of architectural styles: Venetian, Gothic and Baroque. From Split we will set sail towards Brac, the only island with a wonderful sandy beach.
