The Multi 50 Trimaran is a perfect fast yacht boasting the most cutting-edge technology. Thanks to its limited wetted surface and the lack of ballast, the sailing performance of this trimaran are clearly superior to the ones of the other sailing yachts. A cruising speed higher than 30 kn makes the Multi 50 ideal for sailing lovers.

This 50-foot trimaran consists on three joined hulls. The central hull is larger than the two lateral ones and hosts the only internal cabin. It's a boat for thought race sailing, so the comfort is not a key element.

The record of crewed non-stop world circumnavigation has been set on board a 100-ft maxi trimaran with the astonishing time of 45 days, 13 hours, 42 minutes and 53 seconds. Another trimaran has set the solo non-stop world circumnavigation record (57 days).

The Multi 50 Trimaran we showcase has a superb prize record: here is the detailed history of this trimaran. This craft boasts several achievements:

  • Time record of 15 days, 19 minutes, 40 seconds in the Transat 50 ft class (2004)
  • Winner of the Rolex Fastnet Race in 2005
  • Second-best of the Route du Rhum in 2006 (13 days, 14 hours, 58 minutes, 35 seconds).
